12 24 13 ROLLER WINDOW SHADES

1. Shades shall be provided for all windows in occupied spaces unless otherwise directed by the University.  See Division 13 20 10 – Classroom Design for further references to CLASSROOM & TECHNOLOGY DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS document that includes information on window coverings.
2. Shades should be no less than three (3) inches of clearance between the blind and the glass when the blind is in the drawn-up position so that the window washers can clean this portion of glass without injuring their hands.
