.01 General
- For new buildings, major renovations, and additions, perform a lighting risk assessment per NFPA 780. Consult with Engineering Services to determine if a lightning protection system is required.
- System components shall be copper.
- System installation shall be concealed within the building structure.
- Design per NFPA 780 and require a U.L. Master Labelshall be included in Schematic Phase and included in all roof plans and elevations; on major projects discuss and incorporate in design prior to BOT Presentations.
